Ke$ha Celebrates National Coming Out Day

<P><a href="http://www.mtv.com/music/artist/kesha_/artist.jhtml">Kesha</a> has joined forces with the Human Rights Campaign to help celebrate National Coming Out Day on Tuesday (October 11).</P><P>The pop singer created a special message T-shirt, featuring a purple zebra, that <a href="/news/articles/1653432/kehas-we-r-who-we-r-video-hot-dangerous.jhtml">proclaims "We R Who We R,"</a> the title of her hit anthem about individuality. The shirts sell for $35, with all proceeds supporting the HRC's work to achieve equality for the LGBT community.</P><P>According to the <a href="http://www.hrc.org/press-releases/entry/human-rights-campaign-unveils-t-shirt-collaboration-with-kesha" target="_blank">HRC website</a>, only 1,000 shirts will be produced.</P><P>Others are also using the day to bring awareness to LGBT issues. Several notable celebrities will be honored by the Equality Forum, which is hosting an event and profiling notable LGBT members in pop culture.</P><P>As <a href="http://miamiherald.typepad.com/gaysouthflorida/2011/10/lgbt-history-month-honors-ricky-martin-wanda-sykes-ryan-murphy-pedro-zamora-27-other-icons.html#ixzz1aTgr8yl4" target="_blank">LGBT History Month</a> rolls on throughout October, Ricky Martin, Wanda Sykes, "Glee" creator Ryan Murphy and Pedro Zamora, a former "The Real World" castmember turned AIDS activist, all will be profiled by the organization.</P><P>"We're the only minority worldwide that's not taught history at home, in school or religious institutions," said Malcolm Lazin, Equality Forum's founder and executive director. "Like every group that's been marginalized, it really helps to make the case why we should take real pride in ourselves and our community."</P><P>Since launching the program five years ago, over 200 icons have been profiled, including Jane Lynch, Lady Gaga and Neil Patrick Harris. Lazin called LGBT month "empowering and life affirming."</P><P>The message comes amid increased awareness about young people being bullied, including MTV's <a href="http://www.athinline.org">A Thin Line</a> campaign. The MTV film <a href="http://www.mtv.com/shows/disconnected/series.jhtml">"DISconnected,"</a> which premiered Monday night, focuses on issues in a world where technology controls personal lives.</P><P>"I see the viciousness of people every day," said <a href="/news/articles/1672289/jersey-shore-vinny-disconnected-fight-negativity.jhtml">"Jersey Shore" star Vinny Guadagnino</a> on the "DISconnected" after show. "I kind of want to be a soldier in the field, so to speak, and try to combat the negativity with a positive message. Miranda Kerr’s Belly-Baring David Jones Summer 2012 Shoot

Baring her belly while doing a little dance, Miranda Kerr was in fine form during a week-ending photo shoot in New South Wales, Australia on Friday (May 18).

The Victoria’s Secret model mommy looked hot to trot as she was tended to by wardrobe and makeup staffers while swapping in and out of various ensembles for the new David Jones summer 2012 campaign.

A few days prior to the New South Wales shoot, Miss Kerr was presented with the Readers’ Choice Award at the Instyle and Audi Women of Style Awards in Sydney.

The 29-year-old was also honored with an award in the Beauty category for her line, Kora Organics by Miranda Kerr, which she shared with beauty entrepreneur Rebecca Morrice Williams.

Clearly pleased with the accolade, Miranda told press covering the event, “I have really put my heart and soul into (it), … so to be recognized for that is really special for me.”

She also shared her thoughts on what comprises a woman of style in her mind, saying, “I feel that means a woman is confident in who she is and she expresses herself through the clothes she wears.”

Britney Spears Joins ‘X Factor’ As A Judge

Pop star will earn a reported $15 million for one season.

<P>Move over, Christina! Now that "The Voice" has wrapped, it's time for another Mouseketeer-turned-diva to judge future music stars: Britney Spears has reportedly signed a deal to be a judge on "The X Factor," according to <a href="http://www.eonline.com/news/its_official_britney_spears_signs_x/312961" target="_blank">E! News</a>.</P><P>News first broke in early March that the pop star was in negotiations to join the panel of Fox's reality singing competition, and last month, it was reported that Spears was being offered $15 million for one season of the show &#8212; $3 million more than Jennifer Lopez earns as a judge on "American Idol."</P><P>"The contract is signed," a source told E! "There's been a lot of back and forth over the past few weeks as they negotiated the small details, but she's on. It's all completed and Britney is beyond excited."</P><P>In an April interview with <a href="http://www.tmz.com/2012/04/17/simon-cowell-britney-spears-x-factor-tmz-live/" target="_blank">TMZ</a>, Cowell remained mum about the Spears negotiation rumors but admitted that he would "love" to have her on "X Factor."</P><P>"I think it would be a coup," he said. "I think she would be a fascinating person to sit next to, so we'll have to wait and see."</P><P>Spears will join returning mentors Cowell and record executive L.A. Reid on the panel.</P><P>Several stars &#8212; from <a href="/news/articles/1684320/x-factor-judges-miley-cyrus-britney-spears.jhtml">Miley Cyrus and Demi Lovato</a> to Janet Jackson and Mariah Carey &#8212; were reportedly discussed as possible <a href="/news/articles/1678191/paula-abdul-exits-x-factor.jhtml">replacements for Nicole Scherzinger and Paula Abdul</a> before Spears became the front-runner. Raven Symone Addresses Rumors That She’s A Lesbian, Says Her Sexual Orientation Is Private

After rumors swarmed the net this week that actress Raven Symone is gay and is living with her girlfriend, Raven has snapped back saying her sexual orientation is only for her..and who she’s dating…to know.

Apparently Raven’s getting a bit tired of the topic of internet talk being whether or not she’s an undercover lesbian who is secretly living with her girlfriend.  The Sister Act Broadway actress, who, along with many celebs and personalities, previously shot for the NoH8 campaign which raises awareness for getting rid of legislation that bans same sex marriage–tweeted what she thought about the hoopla and attention just moments ago.  In a cryptic non-confirming manner of course:

I’m living my PERSONAL life the way I’m happiest. I’m not one, in my 25 year career to disclose who I’m dating. and I shall not start now.
My sexual orientation is mine, and the person I’m datings to know. I’m not one for a public display of my life.

However that is my right as a HUMAN BEing whether straight or gay. To tell or not to tell. As long as I’m not harming anyone.

I am a light being made from love. And my career is the only thing I would like to put on display, not my personal life. Kisses!

So while she didn’t confirm her sexual orientation, can we read between the lines and take a pretty good guess?  We loves us some Raven either way.  Even the nosy parts of us….
